For years, the President’s Gala has been a cherished tradition, bringing together our most dedicated supporters to celebrate the spirit of StFX. This year, we’re excited to introduce a new take on that tradition.

Hosted in the beautiful Mulroney Centre, the evening will bring together alumni, donors, and friends of the university for a celebration of connection, community, and gratitude.
The evening begins with a curated reception featuring a food and wine journey along the Scholars’ Walk. Along the way, guests will hear from StFX faculty members as they share their innovative research and the impact they are making beyond campus.
Following the reception, guests will move to the Barrick Auditorium for the evening’s awards presentation, recognizing loyal and generous donors and celebrating the difference their support has made in the lives of students and across the university community.
The celebration will conclude in the Joyce Atrium with a lively social gathering featuring dessert, drinks, and entertainment - an opportunity to reconnect, reflect, and continue celebrating all that we’ve built together.

Event Details
- Attire: Cocktail attire is suggested for the evening.
- Accessibility: The Mulroney Centre is a fully accessible building, and we have taken great care to ensure the needs of all our guests are met.
- Arrival & Coat Check: A coat check will be available upon arrival. We also invite you to stop by the entrance, where a photographer will be stationed to capture individual and group photos.
- Food & Drink: The reception features a curated food and wine journey, including chef-curated food stations and passed appetizers. This is intended to be your dinner for the evening, so we encourage you to sample the many delicious offerings.
- Bar Service: A cash bar will be available for those wishing to enjoy additional beverages, and a variety of complimentary non-alcoholic beverages will also be provided.
- Scholars Walk: As you make your way through the reception, please take a moment to meet our faculty members, who will be showcasing their research and sharing the innovative work taking place at StFX.
